If you have retarded children they may be the only ones who will understand/ enjoy this movie. What a disappointment. Abigail Breslin's amazing onscreen presence is the only saving grace of this movie. Jodie Foster should not be allowed to EVER do a family film again, seriously. She was just akward and weird the whole movie through. It was just not really as whimsical or light as the previews made it look. Well, I mean, I suppose I should have trusted my gut on this because there were 2 trailers out for this flick; one that made it look awesome and another that looked weak. The weak looking one actually laid the film out honestly. I should actually commend the second trailer's editor for making a boring flick look really interesting, that is some great marketing. Ok back to the movie, it was just not good. You can rent it for your kids or something when there is nothing to really do, or find a guy in downtown LA to sell you a Bootleg for 4 dollars, but even that seems like too much for this one. Sorry family film industry, this was not your best work.(If you don't know what I'm talking about, the trailer is located in the "trailer trash" post from March)
